The city of lights. The city of love. The city of fashion.
Whatever one's view of Paris may be, it completely differs from mine. My experience living in this city has been shaped by the rainy days, the utter loneliness, and the hopelessness of being in my early 20s and going through a breakup. The pictures I took during that period of time, 2012, show very well these feelings (I'll share them one day when I'll be old enough not to care).
But when I got back, almost 10 years later, I tried to depict a new vision of the city. I found loneliness in the busiest places and friendship and love in the most hidden corners. I found beauty in the forgotten hallways and tiring boredom in the most visited hotspot. Contradictions that work well for a city that gave birth to or became home to my favourite writers and poets.
